About John Chipps

John Chipps, Founder and CEO of SEEK CIO, started the firm after more than 25 years of executive technology leadership experience including over 20 years serving as a CIO and CTO. 

​

John is passionate about engaging at a strategic level to provide superior technology solutions and talent for his clients. His extensive network of Sr. Technology Executives, experience running a pre-employment assessment firm and past and current CIO experience ensures that SEEK CIO will provide a CIO, CTO or VP of IT resource that is a great behavioral, cognitive, cultural and technical fit for your organization.

Most importantly, our selection and client engagement process ensures that we engage with your organization at a strategic level which enables your resource to hit the ground running.

John has served as Chief Information Officer and Executive Manager for multiple industries in both for-profit and non-profit organizations including American Association of Professional Landmen, Women's Foodservice Forum, Xpressdocs, Batrus Hollweg International, HD Vest Financial Services, Giggo.com and epicRealm. He has also held consulting positions with EDS, Texas Instruments, Lennox International, and Microsoft Corporation and serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations.

John received his Master of Science degree in Management from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ambassador University.  He holds all major Microsoft certifications including MCSE+I,MCDBA, and MCSD.

​

John is a member of Gateway Church where he serves on the Altar and Freedom ministries and is a member of Gateway's Kingdom Business Leaders.  In his spare time John is a "family guy" who enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.  His interests include boating, running, beach volleyball, scuba diving, traveling and reading.  John lives in the DFW area with his wife and daughter.

About Chad Stewart

As Principal, Chad Stewart is responsible for Seek CIO's marketing and business development strategy, strategic partnerships, public relations and digital media operations. 

​

In his technology career which spans over 20 years, Chad has helped hundreds of organizations save time, eliminate risk, & make smarter software technology decisions as a software adviser. His passion is helping to improve operational success with technology by partnering with clients to secure their best fit with talent, technology, and processes. 

​

Chad has a very diverse background involved in working with buyers and sellers of technology. While Chad takes pride in being a software adviser he has also held many executive roles in technology including project manager and implementation consultant trained to deliver results for his clients. 

 

He has developed and managed channel business partners, developed strategic alliances with many leading software and service vendors, implemented hundreds of enterprise software technologies, and led the revenue growth of several small to mid-sized businesses throughout his work experience. 

​

Chad is also the founder of SmartThoughts, where he is the Chief Evangelist charged with executing the SmartThoughts mission which is to align executives who are searching for the right software solutions with vendor partners which provide the best fit. He is hired by C-level executive in an organization & need a trusted resource who specializes in enterprise software designed for various types of organizations including nonprofits, associations, chambers, financial services, insurance, real estate, technology, manufacturing & distribution.

He has a sincere and passionate desire to help others succeed. He believes in technology and knows that with a smart mix of the right people & services can enable huge advantage for businesses today.
